flourish is a gardening system that helps users interact, take care of
and better understand the depths of healthy plant growth. it’s main function is to manage the plant’s watering cycle by connecting to the user’s established water system and help the user understand what their plant needs to stay healthy.
by using this system, the user is able
to use a smart device for in-depth care, without disrupting the humanistic elements of physical
plant interaction.

to grow and care for their plants. the system appeals to people who are interesting in sustainable living, such as growing their own food or creating their own garden plan. for plant enthusiasts and people who want

this system helps the user understand the details of a specific plant’s care and planning not miss a day of watering your plants (an irregular water cycle).
PAIN POINTS
people are aware of smart garden apps or devices, but do not know how to use them
or do not think they are necessary.
gardening apps are often not personalized enough to the average gardener.
most people want low maintenance plant care, prioritizing only smaller potted plants in limited / indoor areas.
METHOD
create a system that implements an automated watering system to help the
user manage and care for their plants conveniently and efficiently integrate the system into the user’s daily life, allowing easy to use directions and personalized care for the specific plant.
THE LOGO
the rounded nature of the logoform is meant to communicate friendliness and flexibility, allowing users of all ages to easily utilize the app.
DESIGN SYSTEM
the system went through many changes, consistently keeping a more clean,
minimal ecosystem that allows for
fluid navigation.
DEVICES
the main devices used for this system would be a tablet screen, mobile app
and laptop to monitor plant health
and keep track of the garden. it would also be possible to monitor plants away from home by using the mobile and laptop applications.
